PROGRAMMER

As a Programmer, you'll play a vital role in bringing our gameplay systems to life. We’re looking for someone who thrives on problem-solving, understands the inner workings of 3D engines, and can translate design concepts into smooth, functional features. You'll work closely with our team to bring our vision to life​​

What we’re looking for:

​

  • High proficiency in C++

  • Ability to write clear, efficient, and maintainable code

  • Solid understanding of the game development process in 3D engines

  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills

  • Experience with implementing gameplay systems, AI behavior, and game logic within the Source engine or similar

  • A collaborative mindset and willingness to work within a remote team structure

ANIMATOR

We're looking for a skilled 3D Animator to bring our characters and creatures to life. As a part of our team,  you will beworking with sculpted organic models, creating rigs, fluid and natural animations. But that´s not all- you'll also be animating a wide range of weapons, from realistic modern firearms to experimental tech from other dimensions. Your animations will be a key element of giving these assets the proper weight, impact, and movement to make them feel right in-game.

What we’re looking for:

​

  • Strong experience with 3D animation and rigging

  • Proficiency with 3DS Max is preferred, but Blender or Maya experience is welcome

  • Comfortable working with organic, high-detail 3D models

  • Ability to deliver cleanrigs and natural, animations

  • Team-oriented, communicative, and motivated

HARD SURFACE PROP ARTIST

We are looking for a talented and passionate Hard Surface Prop Artist to join our game development team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating high-quality hard surface assets.

​

What we’re looking for:

​

  • Create high-quality hard surface props using a high poly to low poly workflow

  • Unwrap UVs, texture assets, and set up physically based rendering (PBR) materials

  • Optimize assets for performance, including proper use of LODs

  • Work closely with artists, designers, and technical teams to ensure assets integrate smoothly into the game

  • Iterate on assets based on feedback while maintaining quality and efficiency

CHARACTER & ORGANICS ARTIST

In this role, you will be responsible for creating high-quality organic character assets that bring personality, realism, and style to our game worlds. You will work closely with other artists and animators to ensure characters meet both artistic and technical requirements.

What we’re looking for:

​

  • Create high-quality hard surface props using a high poly to low poly workflow

  • Unwrap UVs, texture assets, and set up physically based rendering (PBR) materials

  • Optimize assets for performance, including proper use of LODs

PARTICLE ARTIST

We are looking for a  Particle Artist to join our game development team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating high-quality real-time visual effects that enhance gameplay, atmosphere, and player feedback.

What we’re looking for:

​

  • Experience working with particle systems for games

  • Ability to create and modify basic materials for particle effects

  • Experience with the Source Engine particle editor (any version), or a strong willingness to learn

  • Rudimentary knowledge of the Source Hammer level editor for testing particle effects, or willingness to learn

​

VOCAL TALENT

We are currently looking for a talented and reliable Vocal Talent to contribute voice performances for our game projects. In this role, you will provide high-quality voice recordings for characters and NPCs, helping bring our game worlds and stories to life through expressive and believable performances.

​

What we’re looking for:

​

  • Fluent American English speaker; slight British accents may be acceptable for very minor and selective NPC dialogue

  • Access to decent recording equipment capable of producing high-quality audio (above basic consumer microphone standards; professional studio not required)

  • Ability to deliver clean, well-leveled recordings in a home or personal recording setup

  • Strong communication skills and reliability

Before you consider applying

You must be at least 18 years old to join Tripmine Studios in any capacity.

 

Your computer must have at least 24GB of RAM, although we recommend 32GB. This load is required for running third party tools and applications, *NOT* for the game itself. See the game's Steam store page for estimate player/modder system requirements.
