Hi, I’m Lander, a level designer based in Belgium. I specialize in creating immersive game environments, with a strong focus on storytelling through level design. Alongside my design work, I also create small-scale 2D art, such as skies, to support atmosphere and mood.
My creative focus lies in building worlds where stories are told through space, structure, and visual language. I believe that a layered narrative embedded in level design can significantly enhance the overall game experience and offer players something truly unique and personal. More importantly, I aim to create worlds that inspire others—encouraging them to share their own lived experiences and perspectives through games, visual storytelling, or other art forms.
This philosophy is the core reason I continue to contribute to game projects alongside my other demanding work. For me, it’s about creating and sharing an artistic story within the Half-Life universe, and using interactive spaces as a medium for meaningful expression.
